Naini Lake

Nainital Lake (Naini Lake), a natural of Nainital is kidney shaped or crescent shaped and has an outfall at the southeastern end. Naini Lake located at the centre of the town and there are several other lakes of nearby areas.
The lake is bounded by the high and steep Naina peak on the North West side, by the Tiffin Top to the south west side and snow view peaks on the north. Coniferous forest trees cover these hill ranges.There is the Nainital Boat Club that offers yachting facilities at the lake.

Tiffin Top

Tiffin Top (Dorothy's Seat) is situated in Ayarpatta hill which is flat at the top and has a picnic spot.It is around 5 Km from Nainital city surrounded by trees. Tiffin Top offers the 360 degree view of great Himalaya and the Nainital city as well. Tiffin Top was built by a British officer Col J.P. Kellett, DSO MC, City of London Regiment in memory of his wife "Dorothy Kellet".
One can reach here by trekking or by pony. After reaching here just roam around it and spend some quality time with your family or friends , take beautiful photos of the Nainital valley. This is also best for sunrise and sunset views.

Kainchi Dham

Kainchi Dham is Hanuman ji's temple which is not only famous in India but also in the whole world. This was established in 1960 by a great saint Neem Karoli Baba who was a great devotee of Hanuman ji. It is around 17 kms from Nainital city on Almora road.Many hundreds of people visit the temples here every day, in season. Each year, during the June 15th Bhandara, reportedly, more than one lakh (100,000) people are fed. Ex Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, and CEO of Facebook has also visited this place.

Bhimtal

Bhimtal is a town and a nagar panchayat in Nainital located at an altitude of 1370 meters above sea level and is about 22 kilometers from Nainital.Bhimtal is an ancient place named after Bhima of Mahabharata. Bhimeshwara Mahadev Temple, an old Shiva temple in the bank of Bhimtal lake.
This place is famous for its lake (Bhimtal Lake).An island in the middle of Bhimtal Lake, which is center of attraction for tourists around the world.The sights surrounding the lake makes you pleasant feeling. One can enjoy boating ,trekking, nature walks in bhimtal.

Naukuchiatal

Also known as the "lake of nine corners" this is also a small hill station in nainital located around 1,220 meters above sea level. The lenght of the lake is around 1 Kms and around 40 mts deep.This valley attracts everyone's mind, and everyone wants to lose in it. A picnic to this beautiful place also offers one with the tempting challenges like paragliding, fishing, rowing, paddling or yachting.Naukuchiatal is also famous for the 'escape festival' which happens once every year (in the month of may).

Sat Tal

Sat Tal(Seven lakes) is group of seven interconnected freshwater lakes located near Bhimtal at the atltitude of around 1370 mts above sea level.During the British rule, the area had a tea plantation, one of four in the Kumaon area at that time.This place has a great flora and fauna.
It has 500 species of resident and migratory birds, 20 species of mammals, over 525 species of butterflies and over 11,000 species of moths, beetles, bugs and other insects. The flora covers a wide and diverse range of plants ranging from Bryophytes, orchids, rare climbing plants, ferns, lichens, fungi, medicinal herbs and shrubs.
